One of my favorite flavors in the world is pumpkin. Of course, it’s the perfect taste to enjoy during autumn… but truth be told, I love it all year round.

There is nothing better than the warm, bubbly filling of a pie bursting with ginger, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. So tasty!!

Pumpkin Dump Cake Ingredients you will need

  • 2 cans pumpkin pie mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 5oz cans evaporated milk
  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted

How to Make a Pumpkin Dump Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl mix together pumpkin pie mix, eggs, and evaporated milk and then pour the mixture into the baking dish.

Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the top of the pumpkin.

Pour butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Do not stir!

How to Bake

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown. It will have the perfect crisp and crunch to it!

Let cool before serving. Serve with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream. Add walnuts or pecans if desired.

I have a friend who also makes a cream cheese drizzle to go on top before serving. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds decadent!

Do You Have to Refrigerate Dump Cake?

I usually do pop my leftovers — if there are any! — in the fridge. I actually love the texture and consistency of this cake served cold. You can also warm it back up before serving as well if you’d like.
